A brand new day begins to rise,
As morning haze meets searching eyes;

A quest for beauty, deep and true,
The dreams I chased, the ones I knew.
I trade my "wish" for active zest,
To make this coming year my best.
Now that we reach 2026,
The broken parts, I choose to fix.
Through hazel nuts or threads of gold,
Let my unfinished tale unfold.
I weep for what I could not gain,
I smile for love that broke the rain.
With every bright and radiant ray,
