Wrapped in sweets, lights, and a little bit of love โ€” thatโ€™s my kind of Diwali.๐Ÿซ ๐Ÿฅฐ ๐ŸŒŸ Diwali Within The time of year has come once more, Nostalgia hums โ€” we open the door. All I need is that bundle of love, To light the night, like stars above. Luscious sweets and bursting crackers, Iโ€™ll adore the festive spark and swagger. Divine the soul, so pure and bright, It helps us all forget the blight. Itโ€™s the trumpet of truth over evil, Burn the flaws, silence the devil. Gujarati soil within greets the year, Awadhi heart hails Shri Ramโ€™s cheer. Marathi soul finds bliss in the gleam, Each glimpse โ€” a part of the Diwali dream. And when I return as an Indian whole, I embrace the universe, heart and soul. Itโ€™s like juggling joy โ€” a cosmic mirth, With comrades shining, like stars on Earth. Let the heavens bless from above, Maa Laxmiโ€™s grace bestow her love. The beauty of the festival, vibrant and bright, May this Diwali be jubilant in light. To say โ€” live now, reborn in light and mirth, For every Diwali begins a new birth. Rachana Bahel
